Using a school garden as an example of an ecosystem, the NGO association O.A.Z.A and several Croatian schools aim to introduce children to the topics of environmental protection and sustainable development in a practical, enjoyable, and age-appropriate manner. Activities in school gardens enable children to engage with nature, an experience often lacking in urban environments.
